Lively local pub and restaurant. They have a huge menu, with so much to choose from. I tend to get the Buffalo tenders, which I think are the best - ample portion. Their pizza may be best in town, very tasty and perfectly cooked. Steamers are always clean and delicious. Great pub food. Very reasonable prices. They’re always busy for a reason. It looks like they’ll be adding a big addition to the dining room this summer, which I’m sure they’ll pack. They also have a lot going on with things like trivia, karaoke, holiday events and live music. (During Covid-19 - Curbside/Take-out only. Very pleasant phone ordering experience. Delivered directly to your car. Very impressed with them hustling to give prompt and personalized service with these conditions.)
Went for Dinner on our last day in Wells. Food was really good we had the Bottle Caps (which is banana peppers fried served with cajun ranch dressing). My daughter had the Mac and Cheese with added bacon. I had the Captain's Platter, it was a very good portion and the seafood in it was so fresh and good. We also meet the magician GOGO that does magic a couple of nights a week I got him to do a magic trick for me even though he was just there that day to help around the restaurant. One of my new favorite places when staying in Wells.
This was possibly the best casual restaurant experience I’ve ever had. I ordered rib eye, medium, baked potato and homemade onion rings. Steak cooked to perfection!! How often does that happen? From ordering to serving was literally 22 minutes. Server was pleasant and attentive. Atmosphere was lively. We did not order adult beverages.
First time at Litchfield's. Katie was our server. Very pleasant. She is very energetic. We were there at lunch time so it was busy. The food came out quickly and was very good. The rest of the staff helped deliver the food so that we got it nice and hot. Awesome place to go. We will definitely be back
I had the roast beef sandwich with green beans. This super messy sandwich was excellent!! My husband had the chicken parm. He loved the sweet red sauce. It came with very little sauce, but the waitress brought more upon request. Love this place. Return tonight, steak tips, BBQ ribs, and baked beans were excellent!!
After another restaurant was unable to accommodate our party of 25, the incredible team at Litchfield’s Bar and Grill welcomed us on a busy Saturday night without hesitation. From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, organized, and exceptionally accommodating, making what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. Despite the size of our group, the service was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. We were genuinely impressed by their professionalism and hospitality. I wholeheartedly recommend Litchfield’s Bar and Grill and will gladly return!
A really great seaside vibe. Big outside patio area that looks like they have live music on occasion. We had raw oysters which were fabulous, the captains platter-haddock was so much food. It was piled up with scallops, shrimp, clam stripes, fries and coleslaw slaw. This platter was delicious, the coleslaw wasnt great but edible. My hubby had the cold in mayo lobster roll with fries. It was good, but pretty expensive and nothing special.
This family style/pub restaurant was completely amazing and I would go back again and again and again. The food was delicious. More importantly, the staff was so courteous, friendly and amazing. The assistant manager, his name is go-go, literally ran out to my car because my mother was in a wheelchair, and he wheeled her into the restaurant to up to a table. I just can’t believe how lovely everybody was. Our waitress was excellent….and the lettuce wedge with bacon, blue cheese, and tomato is also to die for. Get the mini sliders too. Also, the lobster salad was really good. !!!Don’t tell anyone about this place ha ha ha ha ha ha!! Thank you Go-go!! Keep goinggggg!
This was a great family recommendation. Delicious food (check out the picks) ample servings (we had several “to go” boxes), service was simply exceptional. We had a private table, were not ‘rushed’ to get finished and the flow of patrons was steady coming and going on a middle of the week, afternoon. Great sign of consistency and success. Stop by. You’ll be glad you did!!
Another great meal and my usual frozen mudslide. I had haddock bites with onion rings. Delicious. And our favorite waitress, Joanne, she's the best.
